Open Water Guide Trip Info and Rates
At Lake Osakis Guide Service, we want you to get the trip to fit your needs, when booking please let us know what type of trip you are looking for. We offer the following trips: The Vacationer, The Fish Fry, The Cabin’er, and Electronics.
- Open Water Rates:
- $350 for 4 hours for 1-2 people
- $50 additional for a 3rd person
- $30 additional for the cleaning of panfish (Walleye & Northern are complimentary with your trip)
- Booking options:
- 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
The Vacationer
Open Water
This trip is focused on helping you learn what spots are going to produce fish during the time you are here. This trip is focused to those clients on vacation who want to learn good spots to fish during their vacation. Because the focus is on taking you to various locations this trip will require a lot of moving and teaching of what to use in each location and how to do it, with less emphasis on putting fish in the live well. It is meant to set you up for your vacation on Osakis.
The Fish Fry
Open Water
This trip is focused on getting you a meal of fish. We will be targeting the hot bite species at the time with the goal of you enjoying your catch of fish for dinner(s).
The Cabin’er
Open Water
This trip is focused on teaching how to fish Osakis throughout the open water season, not just the current bite. We have several clients who live on the lake who want to be more successful on the lake. This trip will teach you various spots and structure to fish at different points of the year, please note it will take more then one trip to highlight all of the patterns. The focus will be education with less emphasis on putting fish in the live well.
Electronics
Open Water
This trip is focused on teaching you how to use your electronics on your boat. This trip can be in your boat or our boat, the choice is yours. You will learn to interrupt your electronics, learn tips an tricks to fine tune your unit to provide the best performance and how to cover a lot of ground quickly to get on the fish you are seeking. This trip is only focused on Lowrance electronics, that is our expertise.
